What do I think about dreams?
Simply put, they are amazing.
Without dreams, you have nothing to reach for. Nothing to work for. Nothing to live for.
I am a big day dreamer, and I like to imagine all these wonderful things that will happen to me… someday. I often live in a little dream world; it’s just easier that way. I day dream of Jack and all the things we could have done together, watching him grow up…
Dreams are magical. They let you color your world the way you want to color it. Inside the lines, outside the lines, using every crayon in the box, even those brilliant ones like fuzzy wuzzy brown, macaroni & cheese, and razzmatazz (all real Crayola Crayon colors!).
But they can be nightmares, too.
When they don’t work out the way you want them to. Or when they are actual nightmares at night.
And real dreams? Like that I have at night?
They are usually pretty messed up. They usually involve someone I haven’t seen, heard or thought of in years. Doing something we would never have done together. And they may include any issues I currently have going on that have nothing to do with the people in the dream. It’s weird. I don’t understand it.
I do love day dreams though. And I used to dream a lot about my future.
Basically without dreams, life is without color. It’s only black and white.
I need some more color in my life. Especially razzmatazz. Or pink flamingo. It’s been a while.
