Standard

The scale moved again.  Likely again from missing dinner – which I do not advocate.  This made for two few calories in the day.

WEIGHT ~~ +8.6 (I do not expect to lose it all in 3 weeks)

ENERGY ~~ Calming down

EXCITEMENT ~~ 🙂

MOOD ~~ 🙂

TIP: Schedule a hair appointment during this time.  It’s another piece of refreshing yourself.  Looking good is important, it makes you feel better and keeps you on track with your goals.

Breakfast was oatmeal with apples again.

My morning snack was 1/2 cup blackberries.

Lunch was ground turkey, brown rice, tomatoes and blackberries.

My afternoon snack was a package of dried fruit from Starbucks.  Not ideal, but I expected them to have fruit cups and they did not.  I also had a little bit of vanilla flavoring in my coffee – which was sugar…

I skipped dinner because of my hair appointment.  It was a bad idea – especially since I missed dinner the previous two nights.  You should not deprive yourself of these calories; your body needs it to stay fresh.  I was so hungry on the way home I almost made some bad decisions.

I did not do my exercises again.  I am really trying to stay off my foot.

I slept okay.

  1. No sugar.
  2. No salt. 👍
  3. No alcohol. 👍
  4. No dairy 👍 Milk products seem to be upsetting my stomach lately.  Yes, this means no lattes!
  5. Drink at least 64 ounces (preferably 80 ounces) of water per day. 👍
  6. Eat 5 times per day.  (Meal plan suggestion here.)
  7. Cheat occasionally!  It’s okay to cheat every now and again, just don’t do it daily. 😉 👍
  8. Take my supplements religiously. 👍
  9. Drink green tea daily. 👍
  10. Meditate for at least 10 minutes per day. 👍
  11. Do 20 minutes of yoga poses per day.
  12. Do 30 minutes of easy aerobic exercise 5x per week – Just Dance video game, stationary bike, simple video…

The scale moved down this morning!  Likely all the running around and missing dinner- though I do not advocate that.  And then I was kind of bummed because I have only lost 3 pounds.  But then I thought about it.  3 pounds in just over two weeks is not bad!

WEIGHT ~~ +9 (I do not expect to lose it all in 3 weeks)

ENERGY ~~ Still in Panic Mode!

EXCITEMENT ~~ 🙂

MOOD ~~ 🙂

TIP: Brush your teeth after you eat.  It clears the pallet and stops you from giving into cravings.

For breakfast I had oatmeal with apples.  I actually did a double serving as I was starving, especially after missing dinner last night.

My morning snack was 1/2 cup blueberries.

Lunch was ground turkey, brown rice, tomatoes and blackberries.

My afternoon snack was 1/2 cup blueberries.

I skipped dinner because I fell asleep.  This happens when you wake up at 2 AM.

I missed my exercises.  Very busy running around prepping for tomorrow’s freight truck for my convention.

I did take a bath and massaged my feet and did a foot mask.  I did this early, like at 3 PM while on a webinar.

I slept better, but not great.

Ugh.  So much work to do, so much stress!

I feel better today.  I didn’t gain any weight from yesterday’s fail, but still sad that its not really dropping off.  It must be my lower activity/aerobic ability.  This usually knocks my extra pounds off quickly. But, even though it’s not, at least I feel healthy and I feel that I look good.

TIP: Get right back on the horse after you have fallen off.  Put yesterday behind you, don’t feel guilty or bad about it, just move forward.

For breakfast I had oatmeal with apples.

My morning snack was 1/2 cup blackberries.

Lunch was ground turkey, brown rice, broccoli and blackberries.

My afternoon snack was 1/2 cup blueberries.

Dinner was ground turkey with kale and tomatoes and broccoli.

I did my assigned exercises while on a very boring conference call – both yesterday’s and today’s.  I did not do my Just Dance because my foot still hurts a bit – and I can tell a majority of the pain is hidden behind the pain pill I took last night.

I did take a bath and massaged my feet and did a foot mask. I also did a hair mask of banana and avocado.  It was messy.  I did a face mask of rubbing half a lemon on my face then covering it with honey.

I slept okay, but woke up at 2.  AM.

Today I am in a lot of pain.  In my leg/foot.  This is really discouraging because my convention is less than two weeks away and I will be on my feet for hours – and I was only walking for two hours yesterday.

ENERGY ~~ LOW!

EXCITEMENT ~~ 😦

MOOD ~~ 😦

TIP: Give in to a bad day.  Fighting it only makes it worse.

For breakfast I had oatmeal with apples.

My morning snack was 1/2 cup raspberries.

Lunch was ground turkey, brown rice, broccoli and blueberries.

And then it all fell apart.  I ate a ton of chocolate in the afternoon.  I was pain and crabby.

Dinner became oatmeal.

I did not do my exercises.

I did take a bath and massaged my feet.

I slept just okay.

  1. No sugar. um, chocolate.
  2. No salt. 👍
  3. No alcohol. 👍
  4. No dairy Chocolate… Milk products seem to be upsetting my stomach lately.  Yes, this means no lattes!

Today, though the scale didn’t move, my body feels tighter and my stomach is flatter and less puffy – which makes me very happy!

TIP: When you find a combination of foods that is working for you, keep at it.  The consistency helps keep you on track.

For breakfast I had oatmeal with apples.

My morning snack was 1/2 cup raspberries.

I went out to lunch and tried to be good.  I used my Lose It app at California Pizza Kitchen and chose a salad.  My lunch date, C, insisted on a Guacamole appetizer and I ate a little of it, without chips.  But while I was eating my salad, I kept staring at her pizza.  I demanded a piece.  So bad!  Especially since their is gluten in it!

I forgot to eat my afternoon snack.  Bad! Bad! Bad!

Dinner was ground turkey, brown rice, broccoli and a small apple.

I did my Just Dance for an hour after my morning snack.  Then I did my exercises.

I took a bath to soothe my aching foot after an afternoon of walking around the mall.

Today is going to be busy.  I have a lot of manual labor to do to prepare for my upcoming convention, so the day will be busy and exhausting.

MOOD ~~ 😀

TIP: Vary your routine occasionally.  If you normally do your exercises in the afternoon – try doing them in the morning.  Not often, but occasionally, just so your body doesn’t get used to a routine and start to settle.

For breakfast I had oatmeal with apples.

My morning snack was 1/2 cup raspberries.

For lunch I had ground turkey with garlic, olive oil, Kale, tomato, and mushrooms, plus 1/2 cup blackberries.

My afternoon snack was 1/2 cup blackberries..

Dinner was the same as lunch, minus the Kale.

I did my Just Dance for an hour after my morning snack.  Then I did all of my exercises, yesterday’s and today’s.

I made a hair mask of avocado, olive oil and honey.  I blended it together in the blender – made it a lot less messy.  I did a face mask of honey and banana.  I took my bath, massaged my feet and did a foot mask.

I slept well.
